This whimsy had been in the works for several years and I guess it still is. I have yet to colour it in. I got it this far when our Friends of Cortes Island needed a backdrop for their community planning presentation. What better than a whimsical aerial view of our small center we call Manson's Landing. The actual landing is about a kilometre away at the end of the road in the upper centre of this rendering. We still hesitate to call this a town or even a village, but there are now over 26 businesses at the Landing including our always active Community Hall, two cafes, the Credit Union, Public School and Fire Hall. A welcome new addition is our excellent Food Coop. One of these days I'm going to paint this add the colour. But I best not wait too long, or there will be a lot of changes to incorporate, we're growing!
